The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers is pleased to announce the winners of the Weather Watch photography competition.

Entrants were asked to submit images that depicted any type of weather, from thunderous storms, tornados, blizzards to beautiful sunshine.

Hamish Scott-Brown from Warwickshire, England was chosen as the winner from over 230+ images entered in to the competition.

Hamish won 12 months’ membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation.

Phil Jones, the Societies’ CEO commented, ‘Hamish’s image captured the theme wonderfully, with the beautiful sense of feeling from the image as the sun is rising through the fog.’

There are also two runners up: Antony Zacharias from London and Peter Jones from the Nottinghamshire. They have both won six month memberships.

There were also 16 highly commended images, which you can see here. And don’t forget to check out February’s competitions, either.
