United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recently visited North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, where a UN camp houses people displaced by fighting between M23 rebels and government forces. Approximately 42,500 people have been forced to flee their homes in the region due to the conflict, seeking safety internally or across borders.
