Living World photography competition - winners announced
PhotocriticEtcHouse Fly (Helina reversio) by Rod Hill
The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers has announced the winners of its Living World photography competition.
For this competition, submissions were requested that display wildlife living in their natural environments.
Rod Hill from Merseyside, England was chosen as the winner from over 320+ images entered in to the competition.
Rod has won 12 months’ membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation.
The winning image was taken using a monopod and ball head using natural light only as Rod prefers to use only available light. It is part of a series of images from the order diptera or ‘flies’.
There were two runners up: Cindy Kassab from British Columbia and Sandy Scott from the Florida. They both won six month memberships.
There were also 14 highly commended images, which you can check out here. And don’t forget to enter this month’s open competitions, too.
