The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers has announced the winners of the Animals in Action photography competition.
For this competition photographers were asked to submit images that show animals in their natural habitat living out their daily lives.
John Hunt from Kent, England was chosen as the winner from over 430 entries. His image was shot in the Danube Delta, which is the second largest river Delta in Europe.
John has won 12 months’ membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation.
Phil Jones, the Societies CEO said: ‘We had a vast number of fantastic images in March and choosing a winner was a very difficult task, John’s image was chosen as the winner as the judges felt it captured the theme of competition perfectly.’
