The stars shine above an old teepee frame in Whitefish, Montana.
Photography Tip: A strong foreground is essential in night photography. The teepee frame, and trees here, are silhouettes but they add a sense of scale and interest to the bottom edge of the frame. When you are composing your night shots try to find objects that will hold your viewer's attention even if they are rendered completely black by your exposure settings.
