The stars swirl over an old teepee frame on a clear night in Montana.
Photography Tip: In-camera long exposure noise reduction can be your best friend when you are shooting long exposures of the night sky. Without the in-camera "dark slide" noise reduction this forty minute digital exposure would be a noisy mess and it would be full of distracting hot pixels. The key though is learning when to turn on, and when to turn off, this wonderful camera feature.
