My Dearest Flickr Friends,
A very important post.

It was so hard to choose which photo to use with this extremely hard announcement.

I've decided a self portrait was appropriate & perhaps later in the week will post a never before seen image, though unfinished in its long Faerieland edit, because it's as far as I was able to get.

I am posting this in a bid to help save my life. We are presently fighting for it and recently I've decided to open up.

Flickr is my oldest, most loyal audience. I kept this announcement over here for last, because of what this platform 1) has meant to me over the years & 2) what it has done for me not only career wise, but also spiritually and personally.

I have exhibited because of you. I have been internationally published and represented because of you. I have traveled and taught endless amounts of people because of you.

And now, all of that has taken a back seat (as many have messaged, noticing I have not posted in nearly a year) to simply wanting to live.

I want to extend my most gracious thanks to all who have been following my story and helped on every other network thus far over the last 1 week. I have received thousands of messages, all of which I have read and which gave me hope that I can do this, that I can share this and that i can *BEAT* this.

With my whole heart I hope to be back on flickr with new work soon. <3
