The other pieces from this sequence are called "Through the Forests of Bastian" in which the forest is reaching out to get her in a dark fog, as well as the piece simply named "Guardian".
Oftentimes with writing this story, shooting for it, my final selects are images that worked in the storytelling aspect and contributed the most to the story as a whole. Inevitably lots of little portraits like this get left out for lack of narrative. I've decided in looking through Faerieland's shoots, that these simple portraits are just too soft to leave always hidden away on my hard drives & so I'm going to begin introducing them into the board and I hope it will give you guys a closer feeling of each character so that those who love this board can really pick their favorite.
