Winner! Discovering Nature photography competition

The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers has announced the winners of its Discovering Nature photography competition.
For this competition they wanted to see images that display the beauty of nature, whether that be flora or fauna.
Agniswar Ghosal from Bolpur, India was chosen as the winner from nearly 400 images entered in to the competition, for his photo of a green lynx spider and its beetle prey. This has won him 12 months’ membership to the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP), a pair of Tasco binoculars, and a .photo lens clip.
Phil Jones, the Societies’ CEO said: ‘The Discovering Nature competition did not disappoint with a wonderful selection of stunning and colourful shots. Agniswar’s image was chosen as the winner as it perfectly fit the theme of the competition.’
Second place was awarded to Achintya Adhikari from Kolkata, India and third place was awarded jointly to Alan Jones LSIMPP and Darron Matthews.
